White Ribbon Day 25th November

White Ribbon Day 25th November

This year, WHiST is running an online campaign to highlight the 16 Days of Activism, raising awareness of violence against women, and especially, domestic abuse.

The wearing of a White Ribbon stands for never taking part in, condoning or staying silent about violence against women. On this day, and the following few weeks, the wearing of a white ribbon by men and boys is encouraged to demonstrate their support and to highlight that pledge.

WHiST has chosen to focus on domestic violence, which we know has increased due to the restrictions and stresses of Lockdown and the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
