Women can get help and support from The Employment Coach at Women’s Health in South Tyneside if they are thinking about taking a positive step forward in to confidence building courses, training, volunteering, job searching or work. You can book to come in to chat about options available to you.
Perhaps you have recently started to claim Job Seekers allowance after a period of claiming Employment Support allowance. You may have some health issues and want to think about how you can manage them whilst still thinking about your options. Just so you know, joining The Wise Steps Project will not affect any of your benefits.
However , to be eligible to join the project, you donâ€™t have to be in receipt of any benefits.
The Coach Role is part of the Wise Steps programme, a project that helps people in Tyne and Wear to transform their lives, with funding from the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund. The project provides one to one specialist support to those on the pathway to work. Wise Steps is a partnership of local organisations led by the Wise Group, which aims to improve wellbeing and life chances.
Women who aren’t currently working can meet the Coach to discuss eligibility and whether joining the Project is a suitable step for them. The Project is funded until March 2019 and can give participants support and access to Specialist Partner provision such as Counselling Services, Basic Skills and I.T. support.
