Women’s Health in South Tyneside is a well-established, successful charitable organisation offering an integrated model of support services to women.
We are pleased to be advertising three opportunities to join our team of experienced and skilled staff.
Young Women’s Engagement Lead (Female)
35 hrs a week
This post will engage young women aged 16-25 years and co-produce services to improve their physical and mental health. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about women only spaces and creating opportunities for young women.
Women Thrive Project Lead (Female)
28 hours a week
This post will implement recommendations from WHiST’s successful Poverty Project. You will understand the impact of poverty on women’s physical and mental health and life chances. You will have experience in community development and be committed to bringing about change through community interventions and peer support.
Women’s Advocate (Female)
28 hours a week
Working alongside the Women Thrive Lead, this post will support women experiencing financial hardship, debt, housing issues and low income impacting on their mental health. You will support women to access support from partner organisations specialising in these fields as well as WHiST services developed by the Women Thrive project. You will be committed to increasing women’s financial resilience and creating opportunities for change.
