A Big Thank You

On Wednesday evening (15^th Nov) Ruth Berkley, Chair of WHiST along with Donna di Stefano and Jeanette Telfer were delighted to attend the AGM for Jarrow Women’s Institute to receive a donation. Members had organised fund raising activities throughout the year and raised a magnificent £1,500. This is a phenomenal sum and very much appreciated by all at WHiST. The money will be put to good use for the benefit of our service users. Ruth said, “This is a wonderful example of women supporting other women across South Tyneside. Both organisations share a common aim of improving women’s lives.”
