Courses take place two hours per week over ten to twelve weeks. Courses are completed by women of all ages and abilities, including women who may not have taken part in a course before. Some courses also lead to a nationally recognised accredited qualification.

Support Groups Around Violence and Abuse
Support groups areÂ available addressingÂ different aspects of violence and abuse to enable women to feel safe.
This course considers relationships with partners and children. Learn how you can recognise the signs of an abusive relationship and how you can keep yourself and and your children safe. You will look at ways to build confidence and self-esteem and to make positive choices and changes.
Mindfulness is paying attention, in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally. Learn more about this particular meditation technique that can assist us to accept ourselves as we are.
Volunteering can be very rewarding. This course covers a variety of areas that are useful when volunteering and also when looking for routes to employment as it looks at communication skills, assertiveness, mental health, equal opportunities and gender awareness.

For novices and women with a desire to give this a try. The drama group work on developing scripts as well as performing amongst the group.

Helps to develop confidence and breathing techniques, appropriate for women with asthma, women report it to be very uplifting.

Community Health and Mental Health Matters
Understanding the factors that can affect your mental and physical health, learn the strategies to deal with them, whilst discovering what is available to support you in your local area.
