We take an active part in local community networks such as Healthnet, Happiness and Wellbeing Network and LINKS. These initiatives enable us to feed information out to other groups, to be aware of new developments and to find out how other agencies and groups are progressing.
We raise issues of a gender specific nature as well as trying to protect the future of the voluntary sector generally.
We share information with a wide network and we are part of North East Womens network which operates under the equalities and diversity focus. We also have close contact with and are members of the Women’s Resource Centre a national organisation offering support to women’s organisations.
