Courses

Who are they for?
Our courses are run on a friendly and informal basis.
Courses are aimed at women of all abilities including women who may not have done any courses before.  Some of our courses lead to a recognised qualification up to level 3.

If you are doing a course…
You can choose from a variety of courses from Aromatherapy to Volunteer Skills Enhancement and a programme is printed throughout the year.  Some of our courses have waiting lists and you can add your name by contacting the office.
We will ask you to complete a form before you start learning and a form at the end of your course. These forms help us evaluate our services and are used to find future funding. They are also used by you to keep a record of what you have learnt and to help you to decide which other courses you may wish to do in the future.

Courses are run regularly depending on how many women are waiting for each course
If there are any courses that you would find helpful or that you are interested in which haven’t run here before please let us know.

The courses are funded from a variety of sources so you will find that some will run for longer than others and you may have to wait longer for a place on popular courses.

If you need extra support this can be provided, sometimes by a volunteer tutor assistant.
