Satisfaction with Services Survey

16th June 2010

We have undertaken a satisfaction survey to gather feedback from women using the services of WHiST.
The survey was conducted over 1 day.
69 responses were completed from women accessing a variety of provision on offer that day including, the coffee bar drop in and support services, exercise sessions, courses, counselling, crèche services, and a support group.

Women were asked how satisfied they were using a score of 1 to 10, 1 being low and 10 being high.  The results were as follows;

56 women rated their satisfaction as 10 i.e. 81%

7 women rated it at 9

5 women rated it at 8

1 woman rated it at 5

No other scores were selected

Women were asked to select words about how they felt about the services and the benefit.  The results were;

None of the women were dissatisfied or bored

None of the women felt confused or excluded

48 (70%) felt happy

47 felt more included

How to Join

If you decide to take up our services you will be asked to become a member of WHiST.  You can complete a membership form with the office staff.

Fees

We ask for a donation of between £2.00 and £5.00 a year to help towards the administration costs.

All of the provision on offer is free; however you can make a voluntary donation in any of our donation boxes placed around the project.  The donations are an important element of our funding, the money goes towards running costs and we do depend upon donations being made.

Accessing Services

We ask you to arrange an appointment if you are coming to the project for the first time and would like to speak to a staff member or volunteer.

The building is all on ground level and accessible throughout.  Loop systems are fitted.
You can put your name down for all types of services.  You do not have to be referred by anyone else.  With few exceptions we discourage women from putting other women’s names forward for courses and provision, we prefer you to refer yourself and/or make enquiries yourself.

Confidentiality

Your attendance at WHiST is confidential.  We ask you to respect the confidentiality of other members, staff and volunteers by not discussing information or identities with other people, even within the project.
Our confidentiality policy will be explained to you when you first access a service
